DO NOT…. UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES USE THIS COMPANY!I contacted Countrywide Relocation on December 21st looking to get... a quote. Based on my conversation with Nathan, we agreed on a pick-up and delivery date. Nathan was easy to talk with, REALLY pushed the “we move the military” angel, and said they could hit my target dates. He didn’t tell me in the conversation that this company is a BROKER!! Nathan promised a pick-up on December 29th and a delivery on January 5th. Because he promised delivery within my time frame, I chose to work with them. PLEASE UNDERSTAND.......they can’t control the delivery dates, they send the contract out for bidding, and an actual moving company handles the move. I had already submitted a deposit before I realized what I had done.Countrywide Relocation Services had horrendous customer service. Heather, Carlos, and Tiffany pretty much said what I wanted to hear. They lied and never followed through with what they said they would do. I’m still waiting on the email Carlos said was going to send and copy me on. And Tiffany still owes me a couple of callbacks. I couldn’t count on them to provide any services requested.The actual movers, Hello Moving USA, called and communicated to us a scheduled pickup date and time of December 31st between 2:00 and 6:00. They never showed up, and there was no one available to take calls or explain why they didn’t show up. With the New Year's Holiday, we had to sit by and wait until January 2nd before we heard from anyone. Finally, around 2:00 on January 2nd Ashley called, stating someone would be at my location at 8:00 am on January 3rd. They showed up to pick up our stuff, but that’s when the waiting started. Customer service at Hello Moving was rude and aggressive when I first started calling asking for a delivery date. Once I resigned myself to the fact they “had all control” of the situation, I just had to deal with it. We finally received delivery of our items on Friday, January 27th!!! Yes, 25 DAYS after pick-up. Their contract says they have 21 business days to deliver. Add to it the long MLK weekend when they were off. They pushed it close to that deadline. Finally, I ended up having to pay an extra $1,000 than what was quoted because the movers had to go up an elevator 6 floors.I will bear some of the responsibility for this problem for not researching this company more, but what I will not handle is a salesperson not communicating what the company they represent does correctly. Nor, liars and mean customer service personnel who tell you something they will not do.read more

They took my house hold shipment items from Texas and committed to deliver in Ohio within 7-10 days and that was the discussion and contract but they took almost 1 month to deliver my stuff in Ohio. When I call the reprehensive (Jake Webber), he blocked my phone number and not pickup the phone and no response. Basically, Countrywide took the contract from customer and handover the shipment to road side small shipping companies (third party) with cheap rate so they took delay to deliver our items on time. As per my experience, I don't recommended this company anyone to frustrate to deal with their business. Even they quotes less initially but when some one come to pickup the house hold stuffs, they charged more to pretty higher.read more

This company took $10826 from me as a "deposit", and when I got suspicious of the company for taking such a large... deposit, not disclosing they were a broker not a mover, and they were sending some other company I had never heard of to actually do the move. I told them I did not want their service and asked for a refund. They refused to return any of they money even though they did absolutely no work for me. When I protested they put me in touch with a lady who was higher up in the company and she said they would have a "meeting" about the refund. After the "meeting" they agreed to give me a "credit" for the amount of my deposit for use in a future move within 12 months. They obviously know I do not want to use them, nor will I be moving again in 12 months. This company is a total scam artist, rip off company. Stay far away from them. Never call their number.User's recommendation: Do not even TRY to use them.read more

this was a long but overall GOOD experience!my only advice is, that as customer you need to figure your final cubic... feet in order to avoid disagreements with the local moving broker assigned your inventory. They tried to make my items look bigger, so the volume at up extra for them. Also make sure you fully packed and wrapped with lots of plastic film all of your boxes. I had mines kind of smashed, at least the ones that I did not fully packed. For the rest of the moving items including my fiber carbon bikes; everything was delivered without any issues. Below is a list of services that were promised to me in a legally binding verbal agreement and/or in a written contract... and were not delivered:1. The most basic service of having our stuff moved from one place to another was not fulfilled. Over half of our furniture was left in our apartment due to a lack of space in the truck.2. The inventory specialist we spoke to misquoted our cubic feet allotment by over 600 cubic feet. Not only were we charged an extra $3,000 for the “wiggle room” we were promised, but we also left over half of our furniture including a mattress, bed, several shelves, bikes, and multiple boxes. There was also an additional “long carry” fee that was not quoted to us in our initial agreement. Our binding verbal agreement stated that “if you choose to use us as your moving company, you will not be faced with extra charges during your move.”3. Upon our agreement in using this service we were promised a delivery date that was not fulfilled. I understand your written contract says something different, but we were assured verbally that even by law it would only take up to 5 moving days.4. We were not connected to a reputable moving company. This company was hacked and all of our personal information was compromised. The weekend of our move there were a series of phone calls with misinformation regarding when our movers would be there and how to know if they were not impersonators. Once the movers arrived, they did not begin moving our things until three hours after arrival. They did not communicate to us what was happening while they were there. I reached out to the emergency customer service line multiple times and no one was available to tell me if this was safe.read more

Tried to swindle my parents in their 80’s who live off social security.This... company spent two days going over what needed to be moved out of my parents Fort Myers apartment in an old folks home. The quote was given and the $1700 was transferred via wire because that was the only way they were going to accept the deposit.My parents left to come home to the Midwest prior to a category five hurricane, the movers arrived at their apartment and were greeted by the neighbors and the movers called and doubled the price to $11,000!! They claimed that the items in an 1100 square-foot apartment equalled almost 1000 ft.³ of space within a truck.I’ve tried to resolve this over and over again for the last four days and all I’m told is because we would not pay the $11,000 we canceled our contract. They will not refund my parents $1700 and have not taken any more phone calls from us. I’ve continually been swiped to voicemail although Hugo told me that he always answers his phone and he’s going to work hard to get this resolved.This moving broker boasts As veterans owned and they took advantage of a disabled army veteran.read more

Joab in quality assurance helped me assess my packing needs and went over every item I was moving to make sure I had no surprise charges on moving day. They sent a moving truck to my storage unit to pick up my belongings to be transported to my new address. This moving... company delivered my belongings several weeks late (was never offered consistent updates) and around 3/4 of my belongings (including a social security card, marriage certificate, bank statements, and other sensitive documents) were missing upon delivery, and the remaining 1/4 were severely damaged (boxes torn open and missing items from inside boxes). The movers left before I could verify the inventory, which was agreed upon, and never left a receipt (also agreed upon). The moving company is refusing to answer calls/continue correspondence, and I can only assume that my belongings have been stolen (nearly everything I own has been taken from me). I spent over four thousand dollars to have this moving company steal my belongings and I've been offered no recourse as a result of their repeated refusal to correspond with me. I'm pursuing criminal charges.read more

This company and their marketing have MISREPRESENTED the COST and ARRIVAL DATE in order to obtain my business. It's... been 28 days and ALL IN ONE MOVING AND STORAGE AND COUNTRYWIDE (their broker) have not moved my items and will not give me a date for when they will begin the move. When the movers arrived they attempted to increase the rate by $800, even though all of the item where listed in the quote correctly. The company would not answer the phone to resolve the issue. I was told 5 to 8 days with the quote. After most of my belongings had been loaded onto the truck, the movers produced a new contract for me to sign which increased the delivery time to 14 or possibly 21 days. It has been 28 days since the pick up and the shipment still has not left the warehouse to make the 5 to 8 day trip. They currently will not even give me a date for when the items will be transported. I am calling the police to report over 15K worth of household inventory and electronics as stolen. I am a 65 year old retiree with limited income and in some distress. I spoke to Jason who seemed quite friendly and... helpful. My circumstances have changed a bit so my plans have changed suddenly and I am moving into a retirement community. I put a down payment that day as I was advised they are very busy and may not be available if I wait. So yes I was STUPID and did so. A few HOURS after the 3 day cancellation period they are refusing to give me my deposit back and will only give me a voucher for up to 12 months. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!read more

I was unfortunate to have found this place. As a military spouse our budget is everything, I canceled my move with... them because this place in my opinion is unprofessional I have spent every morning for the past 4 days calling this place because they removed funds from my account 4 days after I canceled my move with them , I canceled because they wouldn't give me a scheduled time for my move and yes i was well within the time limit to canceled, by the way for those who don't know they give you 3 days to canceled I have been passed from 1 person to the next hung up on told that this was not their department yet I keep getting the same 3 people i have been put on hold only to be hung up on told I will be reimbursed yet no call no email nothing in writing They tell you they will get back to you no one ever does ,this has cost me extra money ,that I would not had to use because of them so save yourself the headacheread more
