Leon Firtel is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Civil and Family Mediator, and is experienced in mediating Commercial Disputes; Personal Injury Claims; Business Law; Municipal and Administrative Law; Employment Discrimination; Civil Rights Litigation. Leon M. Firtel joined the Salmon & Dulberg panel of mediators after practicing law for 24 years prior to becoming a Circuit Court Judge in 1997. Although he is most well- known during his 18 years on the Bench for his years of service in the Family Division, he also served in the Civil and Criminal Divisions. As a lawyer, his practice, both private and as an Assistant City Attorney for the City of Miami, gave him first hand experience in various areas of litigation and other areas of practice.
