“Ms Nefertiti Anderson provided the most professional services in helping my family through the process of admission to this facility. Nefertiti is a asset to this facility and I hope that she is appreciated. If I owned my own business I would hire her.”
“my husband was there for respite. while there he was taken very good care of. the nurses let me know when things were going to well with him. it was a very clean and comfortable place.”
“My mother have been here about 7 months now. I am very pleased with her care and when there's an issue, it is taken care of in a timely manner. The staff is great and my mom has her favorites. Sybil and Lisa are great with getting her out of her room. Cassandra ( CNA)goes over and beyond her assigned duties and so do some of the others. Although I visit daily, I feel very comfortable with leaving my mom in their care. As long as my mom is happy, I'm happy as well.”
“Sadie Mays has exceeded my expectations so far for my father. I am pleased with the administration, staff and the facility and pray that I will continue to have a great experience…”

“It was never my decision to place my mom in a nursing home, it was hers. However, many thanks to Nefertiti and Natasha for making this transition for me and my mother easier. The staff are caring and tentative. I love hearing my mom say " it was a great day". I am so happy I chose this facility.”

Tue, May 03, 2022Hello, Ms. Reed. Thanks for your kind words and for the privilege of caring for your mother! It means so much when families are pleased with the care that we provide. We will continue striving to do our best!
“I was very please with the care given to my husband in 2018 and my mother-in-law in 2022. The staff was very professional and concern toward our family.”
“Thanks for providing care for my mom. I know many think their love ones don't get the attention they like. I understand you have many patients to care for. Just give them your best.”
I was discharged from a local hospital to this nursing home for rehab and physical therapy. I was there for 4 months... and did not receive the care that the hospital wanted for me. However, I did receive poor care including pressures sores. They say only a RN can administer medications, but often there were times when an RN did not show up for work and patients did not receive medications. During the time I was there, I never saw a doctor. The aides are supposed to accompany the patient to their doctor’s appointments. They do not help patients get ready for appointments and often times there is no aide available to accompany the patient… so the patient does not go to the doctor. The food is disgusting.Often time I would wake up and patients have wandered into my room. I found them sleep or wandering through my items. The aides will make sure that patients can not reach the Nurse Call Button. They will also make false 911 calls so that they can get a patient removed from the facility. I stayed there without getting any rehab or physical therapy. The hospital that referred me to them, decided this nursing home was making me worst and they arranged for me to get medical equipment and go home.I was informed by a staff member from Georgia Adult Protective Services that this nursing home is the worst in the state of Georgia.read more
Sadie G Mays is a very nice place to take your love ones. My mother was recommended by her doctor to be put into a... nursing home January 2023 and I requested Sadie G Mays and I'm so glad that I chose this facility. The staff is very friendly that takes care of my mother. Lisa, Michelle (CNA) Mr Woodard (Nurse) Mo and Ms. Lisa Hill (Financial). and others that I don't know by name. Everyone is personal with my mother on a caring level and I'm so thankful that I placed her there. I always ask my mother about her care when I'm there, just to make sure she is still happy, and she always say yes. She has even mention some of those staff as well that takes good care of her and that's all I need to know, as long as she is happy I'm even Happier! Staff Keep up the good work!! DO NOT place your loved ones here!!! This place is awful. They pick and choose who they take care of, and those they... don’t care for are left to starve and sit in their own waste for hours. My mother was there, and was unfortunately blind. Staff fed her some days and some days they didn’t. She would lay in her own waste, and in same position for days which led to bed sores. While there she had an undetected stroke.Run, run very far away!!!read more
I’m someone who has witnessed firsthand the less than optimal conditions in some nursing homes and long-term care... facilities, some of which have even earned good ratings. The information on websites that tracks these facilities can be misleading and distorted.I urge families to research this facility through in-person visits to observe the environment, ask questions about care and activities, meals. and promote discussions with resident family members. Our seniors and your loved ones are vulnerable and deserve more than fanciful reports and stars that are ultimately meaningless. This is being said to say this, think long and hard before admitting young precious loved ones here.Don’t do it!!read more
Started fine ,ended up a disappointment. They gave her bed up and didn't inform me . I had to call and find out. I was... so hurt. It was said conflict of interest because I was upset, Ms. Anderson says you hung up the phone on me. I'm so glad the phone didn't hurt her. I hope they continue to find people who fits their status. Pray for dementia patients because they can't pray for themselves. Recommend them I'll think twice.read more
All I remember about this place was the strong smell of urine that greeted me at the door. My mother died within two... years of entering this facility. She passed in her sleep alone wearing a slip..Never mind bringing her any clothing, it all came up missing. I heard nothing about her being that bad off. It came suddenly. It all seemed so strange. I'm horrified of these places! That was in the late 90s.read more
Natashi Peay, the admissions coordinator displayed deliberate rudeness and disrespect once I began to politely voice my... concerns of the numerous complaints of this facility. She spoke over me each time that I began to speak and hung up before my concerns we’re finished being communicated. When people are searching for a facility for the love ones, they don’t need a false show to be created just to gain another patient then the hideous conditions and uncaring treatment of patients are resumed. POV: CONSISTENCY from the beginning with professionalism, cleanliness, sanitation, respect, love and care is what people deserve when love ones are seeking and patients are in your care… nothing less and certainly no thefts of patient’s belongings nor keeping their cellular devices from them. NOW EAT.read more
My family member was there short term and we appreciate all the staff did to get them back to a more place of normalcy,... after suffering a stroke. When we did have concern, they were addressed in a timely fashion. Travel nurse review: The facility was clean. The residents were well cared for. All medication and supplies were... readily available. ⭐️⭐️⭐️My only complaint (which is very important to my healthcare standards) Is the hall that I worked on had no air-conditioning. It’s not that the air-conditioning was broken, it is an ongoing problem that everyone has a seemingly adjusted it to. When I asked about the air-conditioning I was told that it’s always hot on the this particular unit. When I asked someone in management about the air-conditioning they said that the residents complained of being cold at night time so the air automatically adjust to a warmer temperature. The residents have fans in their room to cool them….I was literally sweating as I administered medications. Other healthcare workers were sweating as well. This is completely not acceptable! I felt dirty and sticky from perspiring. This made me very uncomfortable. It’s also Counterproductive for good infection control. For this reason I will not be returning to work at this nursing home, which is a shame because otherwise I had a positive experience.read more
Our family experience with Sadie G. Mays has been wonderful. The staff is caring and certainly patient. Above all,... they are all professional and full of empathy. No matter when I popped in, things were always in order and there seemed to be a smile on every face. Including security! I especially like that they follow protocols and ensure patient safety. I highly recommend this sweet place if your loved one is ever in need ..or if you wish to donate.read more
My brother was a patient at the facility for approximately two years. He was bedridden after suffering from a massive... stroke. His caregivers were patient with him and provided his medications and grooming needs as needed. Anytime there was a change in his mental or physical status, the family was immediately notified. They gave suggestions on how to best engage with him and hiscondition. There were many activities available for all of the residents during the month. Monthly meetings were held with staff members to discuss any change in his behaviour or physical health. I was pleased with his care that was provided by the staff.deread more
