Trinity was great but the company they submitted my move to tried to charge me another $11000.00. Trinity new I had a every large move to make they even asked me if a simi could get down my street. So I expected a large truck I got a 26ft. Rental and 3 men witch one of them set in the truck the whole time. It was going to take another truck witch would cost me another $11,000. I move frequently for work, 4 times in the last 6 years. I have used a new moving company each time mostly because I have never had that great of a move that I really wanted to use the same mover twice. I’ve been through it all; lost items, damaged furniture, movers that don’t show up or deliver on time. That said my expectations were low for my most recent move from Dallas to L.A. When I spoke with my Sales Consultant , Brandon, I was refreshingly surprised that he was super professional, knowledgeable and actually addressed and helped me solve some of the problems I had experienced in the past without me even mentioning that I had had problems with other moves. Brandon suggested that I add additional cubic footage to my quote just to insure I didn’t have any surprise charges on the day of my move. That was really important to me because I didn’t want to go over my allotted moving stipend. As my move approached I called him again to adjust my quote because I realized I had acquired more appliances since I last moved. He was quick to respond with an updated quote. On the day of my move the crew arrived on time. Dominic and his crew were kind and professional . They disassembled and packed up a few of my remaining large items and got everything loaded up quickly. Ten days later all of my boxes and furniture arrived in L.A and the crew arrived within the window of time and moved everything in and assembled my large items. A few of my boxes were squished but overall my things looked like they were packed well and made it without incident. As someone with a less than stellar moving history , I was relieved and grateful that this move went smoothly. I felt like Brandon helped be avoid a lot of the pit falls . We recently moved my Mother from Lancing, MI to Fort Lauderdale, FL. She lived in her house for over 30 years and her biggest concern was that our family heirlooms would be lost or damaged in the move. On the day of the move it was almost 100 degrees and miserable. The movers arrived on time and the Foreman -Yevgeny, was exceedingly professional and very kind to Mom despite the extreme heat and Mom’s anxiety . Yevgeny was joking around with her as he and the movers packed up her huge buffet and china cabinet. They packed everything up very carefully and Yevgeny’s fun/ positive personality really helped to ease the situation . Everything was packed and on the truck in 3 hours. There were a some extra charges when the movers arrived .In total we paid almost $850 MORE at the time of the move for extra packaging for some of Mom’s things that we were advised needed more padding and protection. In the end, it was worth it because all of her possessions arrived in Florida in perfect condition, thank god! The guys that delivered everything to her new condo set up everything very much like her old home. Thanks again to Yevgeny and his crew and also to our Sales Consultant for working with us every step of the way . I have to give a God Bless you to Brandon for the rabbit he pulled form a hat! My company is reimbursing me for the move, so I waited to book until the last minute. I had called Brandon back on the weekend prior to my move, but the initial reservation he found for me was now gone. He went to work and managed to get me picked up the same day!!! I have to say, he really did put it all together. Was the move perfect? No, but it wasn’t anything like may last move, thank God!
I had to add a bedroom set from my parents house at the last minute, so in was about $600 more expensive than he quoted me, but he did tell me that by adding or subtracting items, my price would follow suit. A glass top to my coffee table was broken, and we lost a few plates and glassware. Brett insisted I file a claim, and he sent everything over for me to fill out. I got a check for $42.

So, to be honest, after my move was completed, I just needed a copy of my deposit receipt.
I called and talked to Bethany. She asked how the move went, and what my impression was.
I shared that the timeliness of the movers arrival was great. Pick up went very well, Dimitri and his crew did a great job dis-assembling and wrapping everything up in blankets. When I did the quality assurance walkthrough, we added and subtracted some items, but there was virtually no change to my estimate.
After Dimitri did the walkthrough, he told me that we were right on. They did have an upcharge of $250 more for packing a China Cabinet and a couple TV Stands that have glass shelves and doors. I did not appreciate the additional charge, but the items they packed made the move without a scratch!
A 20 gallon fish tank broke, a few plates, couple of glasses… Short of that, the move went very smoothly.

The move went quite smoothly, truck and one of guys came earlier than it was scheduled. However it is not clear why I was charged for that early arrival. In general the process was well-organized, furniture was treated with care. A side note is that guys came to the destination later than truck and could move a bit faster (but of course you don’t expect them running with your boxes and furniture, especially when they have hourly rate). Also we didn’t move appliances, and I could barely imagine how much time it would take for 2 guys to move it from the second floor. Trinity and Jay has made this hard move much easier. We learned last week that my husband’s job with moving him to Indiana from Fort Lauderdale and needless to say this has been stressful. I tried to get quotes from other moving companies online but all I received was vague offers and no phone calls back I then went on to Facebook and ask my friends and family for recommendations I was recommended to this company Trinity my friend has used them before. I went online to search for a reputable moving company and filled out a few online requests for quotes and I received over 30 calls and I am not exaggerating over 30 phone calls. Jay from Trinity Van Lines was the only person to leave me a voice message so I decided to call him back. We discussed my issues that I knew were unavoidable, my mother lives an an 8 bedroom house in northern NJ that she wanted to move into the home we purchased for her in Sunny Isles that was only one bedroom. Part of the issue was convincing my mother to sell a lot of the furniture items that have been in our family for quite some time.
