Perry is amazing but his workers were even more amazing. He quickly made a drawing of our 2 closets and created a... masterpiece in each. My son's closet was a disaster before the American Built-In Closets did their magic. The closet systems came out much better than I imagined. The workers that came to install were hard working, professional and trustworthy and they went the extra mile. In fact, they fixed a drawer in my bathroom and helped me move furniture around. Well trusted workers like this are hard to find. We enjoyed the experience so much that we are on to our 2nd project with American Built-In Closets. We are doing a large wall unit in our bedroom. If i do any additional wall units or closet projects, American Built-In Closets will be the first number I call. The owner give his cell phone and you speak and work directly with him. How unusual it is in todays times to call a company's main number where they immediately have access to your address... and account. The lovely women who answered the phone shared the account executive handling our area will call but probably not until Monday. (Call was placed at 4pm last Saturday). Less than 30 minutes latter Mr. Perry Birman called back!Excellent call back and response time noted!!!Why did we contact American Built-In Closets?We moved to our new home and inherited a safe that was built into the beautiful custom closet created by American Built-In-Closet Company. Without warning our safe went dark- no battery, no key, no combination. Oh no- major panic took over and I do mean major panic!Mr. Birman had an immediate solution for a fairly common error with these types of safes. He totally empathized with our very stressful situation and without hesitation offered to come to our home with his special tool that he was sure would solve the problem. An appointment date and time was scheduled and completed. I first contacted this company about two weeks ago. The owner, Perry, came out to my house the next day and gave me a... quote. The price was extremely fair and only VERY slightly more than what it was going to cost if we went with ikea. I am SO glad we didn’t do that! Perry mapped out the perfect design and utilized every inch of the space. We turned a small bedroom next to our master bedroom into a second master closet and it turned out amazing. If I would have tried to design this myself, I would have made several big mistakes that I wouldn’t have even realized would have been an issue. During my meeting with Perry, he explained so many things about why it is important to put things in particular places due to the layout of the room. His experience and planning advice alone added such a huge value to the total project. Fast forward to today and my closet is finished. The installers arrived on time this morning at 9am and finished the entire thing in just a few hours. They were super nice, extremely respectful, and METICULOUS with their work. They paid attention to every little detail and everything was installed perfectly. They even did an incredible job with cleaning up. They vacuumed every bit of dust and left the room spotless. I am really happy. I wish every company operated like this. I would give them 10 stars if I could.read more

He came right out, designed the closets on the spot and gave me a fair price (in fact the most reasonable of the 4 estimates). His design made the most sense in the space provided, He kept his word down to the exact date of delivery promised at our first meeting. I also appreciated that he did not “nickle and dime me” as every other company did. He included the jewelry draw, lock, valet rod and belt rack at no extra cost. He even insisted on giving me extras shelves in case I want to convert some of my handing areas to shelving later on. The best contractor I've dealt with in a long time. I went by the reviews, and now I understand why he gets such high... reviews. The owner Perry is EXTREMELY responsive. He showed up on the day I called him. He drew out a design. I was so impressed by his ideas and his reviews, I hired him on the spot. Less than two weeks later he called that they were ready to install. His two person crew was polite, clean and good! The handles were put on perfectly. My closet looks gorgeous! I changed a bedroom into a den/office and lost all the dresser drawers, hence the overload of drawers in the closet. Perry made the bottom two drawers extra large with file rails built in and a lock. I upgraded with self closing drawers and toe kicks across. Looks like what I would have gotten from California Closets but for half the price!! Call him...he's a perfectionist, and makes sure his clients are satisfied and very happy!read more
